CAD Damn It!
I have an idea in my mind for a kinetic piece that's a little technically complicated. So it's time to learn us some CAD! I picked Autodesk Inventor because a I could get a student version with my CCA affiliation (I'm an Adjunct Professor there.)
I knew the learning curve would be a little steep. Here's what happenened when I inadvertently added a few points besides the ones I wanted:

But I more or less got that sorted out and have a better grip on extrusions and rotations.

I think I can get the hang of this in a few weeks. Until then it's time to watch some more tutorial videos...
